Career Overview

I have been working in Television for 24 years. The first 22 years were with the BBC Film Unit. Following its closure in April 2000 I have been enjoying the benefits of working in a freelance capacity.

I have gained considerable experience in all aspects of Television and Film production, concentrating mainly on documentaries in recent years.

I enjoy the variety of the work I do. I am very happy shooting handheld fly on the wall documentary then moving straight to a complex Drama.

I have travelled extensively with my job and adore the really wild places on Earth. I have filmed a variety of wildlife and human-interest stories.

I am told I am patient, and diplomatic, particularly when filming sensitive situations.

I consider myself to be a highly experienced all rounder who likes a challenge and responds with creativity and a quite sense of humour.
